Matt Stillwell is a nationally touring Singer/Songwriter from the mountains of North Carolina. He played baseball at Western Carolina University where he was an All Conference player on the Catamount’s Southern Conference Championship Baseball team. Baseball turned into music and he has since been traveling across the country heading his own shows and opening for most of today’s country superstars. Matt and his wife, Lindsey, live in Knoxville, TN with their two beautiful daughters, Carolina and Ruby.

Matt has had really good success for an independent artist, with three singles reaching #51 on the Billboard Country Charts (Shine, Sweet Sun Angel, and Ignition), along with several videos reaching the top 10 on GAC and CMT Pure. His song “Hey Dad”, a tribute to his late father, continues to have a strong reach, helping people deal with loss all over the world.

Matt launched his Hometown House Party Tour in the beginning of the pandemic, and to date has played over 300 HHP’s across 31 states. His tour continues in 2025, as he travels and plays on his custom built Hometown House Party Trailer.

Musically, Matt just released an acoustic version of “Hey Dad” commemorating Father’s Day and the 10 Year Anniversary of the songs original release. His album, “Matt Stillwell’s 7 Series Vol 1” is set for release this fall.

Matt has worked with major brands like Budweiser, Ole Smoky Moonshine, Flinkin, Morton Buildings, and Hunt Brothers Pizza. He has been featured on CBS This Morning, Fox & Friends, and Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Matt is the ambassador for the Cal Ripken Sr Foundation’s “Badges For Baseball” program which places at risk youth with law enforcement. To date they have partnered with 14 MLB teams to host Badges For Baseball Clinics that Stillwell helps run. He incorporates his music by singing the National Anthem at the games and clinics.
